In February of 1957, Walter J. McCarthy began his real estate business as a sole proprietor in Marietta, Ohio. The company flourished through the years and in May of 1989, the company was incorporated and became McCarthy Real Estate, Inc. At that time, Mr. McCarthy’s children took over the operation of the Company. Stephan McCarthy is now the company President and Managing Broker, Kerry McCarthy Westermeyer is the Treasurer and full time sales agent, Martha McCarthy Crock is the Vice President/Secretary and administrative assistant of the office.
The Company joined "Real Living" as a network partner in October of 2004, to become "Real Living McCarthy Real Estate". The company now operates offices in Marietta and Belpre, Ohio, and Williamstown, West Virginia.
